Kruti Dev is one of the most popular hindi font. This font commonly used in many north Indian states. In Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and many other states of India Kruti Dev font is standard hindi font. Most of the typing tests in these states are conducted in Kruti Dev font. DevLys and Kruti Dev fonts are most used hindi fonts in typing.

Kruti Dev Fonts:
A huge collection of fonts is available in Kruti Dev series. Including some professional and stylish fonts too.After every 10+ number in series a complete new family of font is introduced in this series. First two digit in this series indicate font family and last digit of series number indicate particular font's font style.
In Kruti Dev font name series number are of three digits. If in two fonts first two digits are same then they share the same font family. The last digit represent the style name of that font.
Generally these numbers are like:
- 0 for regular style
- 1 bold
- 2 italic
- 3 bold italic
- 4 condensed
- 5 wide
- 6 thin
- 7 heavy italic
- 8 heavy
- 9 heavy thin
Normally Kruti Dev series 01 series is widely used for official purpose and other qualifying typing examinations. So candidates preparing for typing test examination are advised to use Kruti Dev 010 by their examination boards. ReplyActually I ve one document which says it is prepared in around 1995 to 1999. The font used is Marathi font and it is computer printing. So I wonder which is that Marathi font which came in computer printing so early and that to can be use as open source.
It will be a great help if you can guide me to understand which font is used in the document.
