Satya Rajpurohit is type designer and co-founder at indian type foundry ITF from Rajasthan India. Satya designed some famous fonts in many scripts like Pilcrow soft (Latin), Kohinoor devanagari (Devanagari), Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam and working on some other Indian languages. Satya is now well known in professional hindi typeface designing. In recent years Satya designed some fabulous Devanagari and Latin fonts. You can get these high quality open type fonts on his website and some related blog and accounts of Satya on font selling websites. After graduating from Graphic Design at the National Institute of Design Ahmadabad Rajpurohit worked in L2M3 Communication, Germany  for couple of months. Satya left job in December 2009 since then he is working full time on Indian type foundry in typography field.

Achievements:

In recent years Satya Rajpurohit made good identity in typography. Some of his font got excellent response and used in famous India media.

1) He was the recipient for the prestigious “2010 SoTA Catalyst Award” presented by the Society of Typographic Aficionados in Los Angeles.

2) Latin script font Pilcrow soft was listed among the best fonts of 2013 by Typefacts.

3) In January 2012 Kohinoor Devanagari font was seen in Hindi news channel of news today group. Below pictures are showing flash news in Kohinoor Devanagari fonts in Aaj tak and Tez news channels.

4) After one year modified Kohinoor Devanagari fonts was used in IBN 7 news channel (hindi) connected to CNN news group.

5) The logo of one of the famous social T.V. show Satyamev Jayate was featuring Kohinoor Hindi font. Show anchor bollywood actor Aamir Khan got place on the cover of TIME magazine for this show. Show was broad casted on Doordarshan and Star plus.

6) Kohinoor scripts of Latin, Devanagari script at art gallery in Minneapolis.

7) Starbucks needed a logotype in hindi too when the introduced themselves in India. This requirement was also fulfilled by Indian type foundry.

Biography:

Satya is co-founder of the The Indian Type Foundry (ITF) in Ahmadabad, India. He studied Graphic Design at the National Institute of Design (NID) in India and interned with Linotype in Germany. He has also worked at Dalton Maag in London and L2M3 in Stuttgart. He now works full time at ITF, creating original fonts in all the major Indian scripts along with their Latin companions.

There are couple of images that you've taken from our website seem to be displayed wrong. Not your fault, may be when you were taking these pictures, the web-fonts didn't load properly? Can you please change samples of Tulika Bengali, Kohinoor Tamil and Akhand Malayalam? Let me know if you want me to send you some pictures.

Thanks for informing about mistake. I've changed those three font preview pictures. I think now it's displaying correct fonts.

Thanks for correcting samples, Arvind! They're fine now.

Entire Kohinoor Series, Pilcrow, Engrez, ITF Devanagari and the custom fonts for various TV channels were designed by me, and the other fonts including Akhand series were created by my colleagues at the Indian Type Foundry.
